If students are provided with an authentic audience for their responses to literature (such as ePals or adult reading mentors), will the depth and quality of their written literary analyses increase?
Revised: If I provide students with an authentic audience, such as ePals, eMentors, a service learning project, or an online writing community such as Figment or Penzu, will there be an increase in the depth and quality of their writing, particularly their responses to literature?
Will increasing student reflection and peer review through integration of current and new technology help students to think deeply about writing and therefore increase their confidence as writers?
If I provide my students with writing opportunities that are student-centered, will their topic development improve as measured by the DHS Writing Rubric?
If students are given opportunities to share their writing outside of the classroom will they get more excited about writing? Will their writing improve?
